The AI Fundraising Workshop
Three to four hours, hands-on, with your team. Walk out able to draft donor appeals, thank-yous, and campaign content with AI — in your organization's own voice.
How It Works
3–4 hours, split however you like
One sitting or two shorter ones. On video or in person — whatever fits your team's schedule.
Groups of 3–5
Small enough that nobody hides in the back. Big enough that people learn from each other's attempts.
One real project
Not a slideshow about AI. Your team works on your actual donor communications, with a trainer beside them the whole time.
What You Walk Away With
- ✓A drafted donor appeal, written with AI in your organization's voice — not a template.
- ✓A repeatable thank-you letter workflow your team can run after every gift.
- ✓Campaign email drafts for your next appeal or event.
- ✓And the real product: staff who have personally made AI produce something useful — and are no longer afraid of it.
Who It's For
Development directors, communications staff, and executive directors of small teams — the people who actually write the appeals, the thank-yous, and the newsletters.
No technical background needed. If you can write an email, you can do this.
Why It Works
Nobody adopts AI from a strategy memo. People adopt it the first time it saves them an hour on work they dreaded. That moment — watching a donor appeal come together in your own voice, and realizing you did it — is the whole point of the workshop.
What happens after: many teams keep going on their own. Some ask us to stay on as a fractional AI partner — we embed with your team and build the workflows out. That's optional, and it's a conversation for after you've seen it work.
Your Facilitator
The workshop is led by Andrey Seas, founder of Chatbot Factory. When Andrey volunteered at a family law center during law school, he watched families get turned away because the budget wasn't there. That experience shaped everything Chatbot Factory does: if nonprofits can raise more with the team they already have, they can help more people.
More about Andrey →Common Questions
Do we need paid AI accounts?
No. We'll tell you exactly what to set up before the session — free accounts are enough to start, and we'll explain plainly when a paid plan is worth it.
Is our donor data safe?
Part of the workshop is learning what belongs in an AI tool and what never does. You'll leave with simple, clear rules your whole team can follow.
What if some of our staff are skeptical?
Good — bring them. The workshop is built for skeptics. Nobody has to believe anything up front; they just have to try it on real work and judge the result themselves.
Remote or in person?
Both work. Most teams do it over video; in-person sessions are available depending on location.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on group size and format — book a call and we'll tell you plainly. No proposals, no upsell scripts.
Give Your Team Its First Win
One afternoon. One real project. A team that knows — not hopes — that AI can help your mission.
